1. Agreement

By accessing or using Krigat services, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Fair Use Policy set out on this page. If you do not agree, you must not use the services.

Fair Use Policy (Version 1.01)

This Fair Use Policy applies to all users of our video analysis platform, including both the Individual (single user) product and the Coaching product, where a coach may manage multiple athletes on their account. It exists to ensure consistent service quality across the platform and to prevent usage patterns that are inconsistent with normal individual or squad-based activity.

2. How usage is assessed

Usage is measured on a rolling 30-day basis and assessed dynamically against the behaviour of the broader user base. We do not publish fixed submission limits. Instead, accounts whose usage falls within the top 5% of all users on the platform may be subject to throttling and further review.

This approach ensures that thresholds remain fair and proportionate as the platform grows, and that the policy cannot be gamed by users timing their submissions around a fixed reset date.

3. Individual accounts

For users on the Individual product, usage is measured at the account level and compared against all other individual users on the platform. If your usage enters the top 5% of individual users over any rolling 30-day period, your account may be throttled until your usage falls back within normal ranges. You will always be notified before any restriction is applied.

4. Coaching accounts

For users on the Coaching product, usage is assessed at two levels simultaneously — across the coach account as a whole, and on a per-athlete basis across all athlete slots within that account. Both are compared against equivalent coaching accounts on the platform.

A coaching account may be flagged if usage is anomalous at either level — meaning a coach submitting an excessive volume of videos for a single athlete, or an excessive volume across their entire squad, may be subject to the same top 5% threshold and throttling provisions.

Coaches are responsible for ensuring that athlete slots are used only for athletes under their direct supervision. Slots may not be shared, rotated, or used to submit videos on behalf of individuals outside the coach's programme.

5. Throttling and restoration

Where an account is identified as falling within the top 5% of users, processing speeds will be reduced for the remainder of the rolling 30-day window. Throttling lifts automatically as usage returns to normal levels — there is no fixed monthly reset and no manual action is required from the user.

Users will be notified by in-app message and email when throttling is applied, along with guidance on how to appeal if they believe the restriction has been applied in error.

6. Prohibited conduct

Regardless of usage volume, the following are not permitted:

• Submitting videos on behalf of individuals who are not registered within your account
• Using a single account to provide analysis services to third parties
• Sharing account credentials to pool usage across multiple people
• Using automated tools to submit videos at a rate inconsistent with normal use
• Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage monitoring

Accounts found to be in breach of the above may be suspended or permanently terminated.

7. High-volume legitimate use

Coaches or organisations with a genuine need for higher volumes — such as large academies, national programmes, or institutional users — are encouraged to contact us to discuss an arrangement with agreed usage parameters. This is the appropriate route for managing multiple athletes at scale and avoids fair use restrictions entirely.

8. Appeals

Appeals may be submitted to hello@krigat.com. We aim to respond within 5 working days. Throttling remains in effect during the appeal period unless found to have been applied in error.
